“I work with everyday women of all ages, shapes and sizes with varying budgets and lifestyles, to help them look and feel the very best they can”
Wardrobe Overhaul
The Wardrobe Overhaul, which takes place in the comfort of your home, begins with a personal style consultation – talking about your lifestyle (clothes needs), likes and dislikes, your personality, and your body shape. We do this to define your personal style and so that both of us have clarity about the look and the image you’re aiming to achieve.
Then, every little thing in the wardrobe (At least as much as we have time for depending on how many clothes you have) is tried on and evaluated in terms of whether it represents your personal style, whether it fits and flatters, whether it’s still modern (or outdated) as well as it’s condition.
I will identify what I think is missing from your wardrobe so that you have more outfit options and suggest what could be added so that dressing each day is not overwhelming and stressful and becomes enjoyable.
During the Wardrobe Overhaul, you may also discover how to wear some of your pieces in new ways. Bear in mind though, that this session is designed to have a good look at your clothes and decide what needs to stay, what needs to go, and possibly what needs to be added.
Often when we have too many things in our wardrobe it prevents us from putting outfits together because just opening the doors and looking inside is overwhelming. Until you’ve given your wardrobe a good review and edit it’s difficult to see what you have to work with and know what’s missing.
*If you don’t think you need a Wardrobe Overhaul but you want some help putting outfits together using your clothes, consider a Wardrobe Styling session (details below).
Just to reassure you, our time together is completely confidential. I will not judge or criticise but I will give my honest thoughts and advice. I’m here to help, support and encourage. There might be times when you disagree with my ideas – that’s ok – after all, it’s all about you and how you feel the most confident and comfortable – not about how I want you to look. I might suggest items you could add to your wardrobe, but I certainly won’t pressure you to buy anything. That’s entirely up to you, when you’re ready and when your budget allows. I also won’t pull things out of your wardrobe and throw them out – I might suggest something is ill-fitting, or that I don’t think it works for the style you’re wanting to achieve, or perhaps that I think it’s outdated, but it will be up to you to decide whether you want to let it go. I’m gentle, yet assertive with my advice. It’s meant to be a cleansing and renewing process, but it’s also supposed to be enjoyable and fun.

NB: Because everyone has a different size wardrobe, it’s impossible to anticipate how long it will take to work through everything. I aim to get through all the clothes in 3 hours, however, if you have quite a large wardrobe it may take longer. If we run out of time, where possible, I will give you the option to extend, to get it all finished.
I intend to teach you as much as I can in the time we have so that if we do run out of time, you’ll be able to complete the edit on your own.
Personal Shopping
Prior to our shopping session together I’ll have you fill out a questionnaire so that I know exactly what you would like to achieve during your shopping trip – along with an idea of your style, budget, likes and dislikes, body shape, and lifestyle.
While a shopping session with me is certainly about buying new things it’s also designed to be educational.
My aim is to give you the knowledge and confidence to be able to shop alone and shop smart in the future, making informed purchases and therefore stopping you from buying things that are only going to sit in your wardrobe unworn.
I’ll encourage you to ask a series of questions before you make a purchase (to make sure you only buy what’s right for you) and show you what styles flatter and complement your body shape. Even more importantly, I’ll teach you to be able to recognise when something does and doesn’t fit you properly and explain to you when something can and can’t be altered so that it looks like it’s been made for you.
I don’t receive a commission from any shops or labels, so there is no pressure to make any purchases (or try anything on).
I do, however, receive a stylist discount at several stores of up to 30%

* A Personal Shopping Trip is best completed after a Wardrobe Overhaul, but certainly not essential. It helps if I understand first-hand what clothes you’ve got and what gaps you might have in your wardrobe, however I often work with clients who come from Interstate or Overseas to shop with me, whose wardrobes I never see. It’s absolutely fine. (Some send me photos before we meet)
** In terms of budget it really comes down to how much you want to spend. What you buy and how you shop is up to you. I work within all budgets.
Price: $175 per hour (Min. 2 hours) Book or enquire here
* All shopping trips are done in the Melbourne CBD (The department stores, Melbourne Central, The Emporium, boutiques and laneways – depending on your requirements and budget)
Wardrobe Styling
Wardrobe Styling (or Outfit Planning) is designed to help you get the most from your clothes while saving time and energy.
This is where you’ll discover new ways to wear what you have in your wardrobe. (It’s ideal if you’re someone who doesn’t experiment with new looks and tends to wear their clothes the same way every time.)
You’ll no longer feel as though you have nothing to wear.
We’ll take photos on your phone to record outfits, so you’ve got something to refer to when you get dressed.
You might feel like you just went shopping because you have so many new outfits – even though the clothes all came from your wardrobe.
If during the session, we discover some gaps that are preventing even more outfits, I’ll suggest new pieces that could be added.
(Links of what to purchase can be provided at an additional cost)
After the session, you’ll receive a personalised email with any notes I took along the way, as well as some styling tips.
Price: $350 for 2 hours $525 for 3 hours Book or enquire here
