The Denim Jacket Is What Your Wardrobe Needs For Spring

15 Aug

It’s time to start thinking about what your wardrobe needs for spring.

Go through it and consider what should be replaced (ie what’s looking tired) and what gaps need filling. (Preventing you from creating more outfits).

Do you need fresh new t-shirts, have you got great shoes to wear when it warms up and do you have at least one casual jacket? (Ie not a coat and not a cardigan)

Maybe, if it works for your style and lifestyle – a denim jacket?

(If you already have one, does it still cut it? Does it still look current or has it become outdated?)

If you need help working out what gaps need filling and/or filling them you can book in for a styling session here

Keep It Simple

13 Jul

Have you ever noticed how some of the women many consider to be the most stylish ever – mostly wore the simplest of outfits?

Rarely a loud print … and never too much frou-frou!

Often in black, white or navy (generally a sophisticated block color of some sort) and always with interesting statement pieces. (Bags, glasses, scarves, hats, coats, shoes and jewellery)

Their style has endured for a reason.

Multiple Piercings

11 Jul

If I can muster up the courage, I’m thinking about getting another hole in my ear.

I had my ears pierced the day I turned 18. My Dad wouldn’t let me get them done until then – and being the good girl that I was, I did as I was told.

They used a gun back then (not sure if they do now), and it was over quickly. I’m not sure I’m brave enough to have it done by a needle.

If you, like me, are considering getting your ears pierced for the first time, or a second (or third) time, you might want to read this very informative article before you do.  (I understand now why my holes are lopsided)

When You Shop With Me..

6 Jul

My client yesterday, who is about to start a new job, bought two suits  – and with my stylist discount, saved almost $400.

I also introduced her to a few of my favourites around the traps – which all happened to be on sale.

My favourite white shirt is currently 50% off, high-waisted dark denim slim jeans (ideal for casual Friday) were also half price (about $60) and a favourite black skirt ($99 from $180) and matching jacket $199 from $329) were also heavily discounted.

Needless to say we had a pretty successful day.

The saving alone from Saba covered the cost of me 🙂
